Cells & Environmental Systems Inc. is a vision conceived as far back as the mid-90’s but the company was formally launched in 2007. The inputs of many years to lay a solid foundation for a company that see challenges as stepping stones to higher opportunities and better services has put us in the middle of a new age in biotechnology. Whatever the limits, we are equipped to go over the edge to rationalize solutions to oilfields microbial and environmental problems.

Our immediate plans are to increase awareness and use of biotechnological applications, from oil exploration to production, in the Gulf of Guinea region. The strategic importance of the Gulf of Guinea to the global energy supply provides the drive and key to unlock the future of our fledging company. The company will be formally registered to carry out business in Nigeria in 2008, followed by the opening of a fully equipped laboratory between 2009 and 2010. As we continue to consult between now and then, our first line of product will target the problem of paraffin deposition that is often encountered in oilfields in this region.

In 2012 we see ourselves as the leader and pioneer in the provision of biotechnological services to the oil and gas industry in this region.
